We know firefighters have high exposures to toxic substances.
The question is:
What do we do about it?
The Program:
In partnership with Integrative Healers Action Network and Wild Oak Medicine, we’ve completed three rounds of our groundbreaking Firefighter Detox Pilot Program in Sonoma County, California, and are currently running a cohort in Los Angeles, funded by the cancer research foundation Phase ONE. The preliminary results are extremely promising.
The Protocol:
Administered by environmental medicine doctors trained to treat firefighters
• Intravenous glutathione – mobilizes toxins, supports detoxification pathways, heals liver tissue
• Nebulized glutathione – expectorates toxins and foreign matter from lungs, heals lung tissue
• Liposomal glutathione – supports detox and cellular function
• Supplements – support detoxification and liver function
• Sauna – helps to excrete mobilized toxins through sweat
Key results from past rounds*
Round 1: The total number of high-range (95th percentile) toxins across all participants decreased 72.5%
Round 1: Glyphosate levels decreased 93%
Round 2: The total number of high-range toxins across all participants decreased 81.4%
Round 2: The total number of high-range PFAS across all participants decreased 80%
*The current results are preliminary and based on internal analyses. Our Director of Clinical Research is currently preparing the data for publication and will coordinate third-party statistical review to ensure accuracy and methodological integrity.
